Puddleducks believe that children learn best through play. We follow the ‘In the Moment Planning’ approach inspired by Anna Ephgrave.
An enabling environment and responsive adults are critical to ensure the children are able to learn through play.
We aim to build on and enhance the children’s previous education, home, and family experiences, as we are aware that not all children have the same opportunities in their learning and play

Our stimulating learning environment enables the children to play and explore with a range of high-quality resources that encourage the children to develop skills and learning in all areas of development
Learning and development
Our daily routine, resources and activities allow for a balance between adult directed play and child-initiated play. The children play alongside their peers and have long periods of uninterrupted self-chosen play
